I though I would quickly write something this morning to wrap up the spooky season. I really do love this season. My front porch, is by far my favorite thing this year. I finally got toooo many pumpkins that it is legit almost too much. However, I easily could have bought 20 more pumpkins for the porch haha I will link his halloween costume, our favorite spooky snacks + more. His cute little boo crew was from Walmart. (I cannot find it online) Highly recommend shopping their tees for the "little holidays" $5 tee, my kind of tee + so cute! My rug to layer, is here too. (plaid one)
Our spooky season shows and movies consisted of quite the collection from Netflix, Disney + and Amazon Prime video. Our favorite by far was the Addams Family, cartoon version, if you have Prime.. go run and check it out! Literally, the cutest + spookiest thing ever! Sutton loved it so much. (Addams Family, Hocus Pocus (duh), Onward, Halloweentown, we tried the nightmare before Christmas but he was not a fan!) These have been on repeat for the past month for sure.. #sorrynotsorry #hocuspocus #halloweenmovies
It's honestly pretty easy to make anything themed for the holidays. especially, when they make sprinkles for literally every season lol this morning with had Pillsbury pumpkin cinnamon rolls added some Halloween themed sprinkles and we were set! I am sucker for making all things festive as possible. I don't know if that has anything to do with my enneagram type or what (2) lol Next up, MUMMY DOGS.. these are adorable and so easy + beyond affordable. The cheapest hot dogs from Wally and Great Value croissants. Wrap the dogs around with the croissants and bake at 350 degrees for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Add some spooky eyes to make the mummy dogs festive for the halloween day!
Ok, the best part lol Sutton's costume this year... ALFALFA!! #littlerascals I was worried how well he would handle the suspenders - linked there and the bow tie. He did so well, he loved loveddd the shoes so much! (haha I had to go alll out) The white tee was off amazon too, the bow tie I located at Wally World on clearance!! The hair, was the hardest part.. his hair is so long right now but we managed with lots hairspray + little rat comb action. I haven't used that memory muscle in awhile lol "You are the scum between my toes!!" was a success and he was the cutest little Alfalfa, I ever did see! This costume was right at $30 - works for me and my budget.
I hope everyone has a spooky halloween, there is suppose to be a full moon tonight. First time in like 76 years, I don't think I will be umm sleeping tonight. This day/month as been full of all things spooky and fun. I think it is important to soak up all the days fully and make as many memories as we can! Now, if y'all want to put your tree up early, do you! I'll be here soaking up all the things every day. I am not opposed to it, the more I think about it.
